Hey boo-thangs! Just wanted to share some random recent snapshots! In order from left to right: A snapshot of me and my friend Ty at Fashion Week, a snapshot of me in Matthew Cherry's new web-series Almost 30 (I learned so much while shooting it in LA!), a few shots from the Rip The Runway viewing party and the most amazing view of Times Square I thought I would never see (especially at an audition). I also wanted to add a recent shot of me in the gym this past week as some form of inspiration to anyone who needs a boost. I workout to clear my mind and to keep my heart happy (both emotionally and physically) and I think any bit helps. Just remember even a small step is a step in the right direction. Happy March loves! (no more Mercury retrograde until June-PHEW!)

This year was, without a doubt, a year FULL of gifts (triumphs, challenges, lessons, and all). I wanted to share some of my top fave moments of 2012. It was, indeed, a blessed one. My 2012 Highlights include: Modeling Monif C. Designs for BET's Rip The Runway with the yummy Robin Thicke, filming NBC's 30 Rock, speaking at Barnard College in addition to signing on as a consultant for Columbia University, and hosting an event at Alex & Ani in Soho, NYC... Joining a panel for New Jersey Full-Figured Fashion Week, landing my first ever print cover including a 7-page editorial for the Beaute Book magazine, shooting a beautiful campaign for My Girlfriends Closet Boutique with recording artist Briana Collette, radio personality Angela Yee, psychologist Dr. Robi Ludwig and international model Carissa Rosario, and being chosen as Vibe Magazine's Vibe Vixen... Shooting an editorial for Pose Magazine, being honored in Plus Model Magazines IAMPlus feature, shooting a campaign for 2013 with my 2 best girls, shooting my promo video for my site, booking my 2nd My Girlfriend's Closet Boutique campaign and being the first ever plus size model featured in Kontrol Magazine (currently at Barnes&Noble)... Having the pleasure of shooting with some of my fave dream photographers including Allen Cooley, Toni Smailagic, Dallas Logan, Inez Lewis, and Gregory Prescott... My travels! I went to London and attended London Fashion Week, went to Paris and shot an editorial with my mentor Velvet D'Amour, saw good friends and family in Belgium and took a special solo trip to Barcelona... Overall, the places I was able to see, the people I was able to meet and spend it with, the special events I was able to attend and celebrating 6 years in NYC pursuing my dreams has been the highlight. I run so fast that I rarely stop myself to look at where I've been and I'm so thankful at the opportunities I've received. I'm looking forward to what 2013 has in store for all of us. I'm one day stronger and my heart and mind are open to the journey ahead. Wishing you a safe, happy and healthy year...let go and let God. xo
Hiiiiii babyloves! I hope all is well with all of you. I just got back into town and wanted to share some pics from my adventures this past month! Before heading out to Atlantic City for my mini vacay I stopped in to give my friend Roble hugs and love for his birthday (so fun!). I rocked my Monif C. convertible dress aka my new favorite thing in my closet. I feel like when Monif went to design that dress she had me (and my booty) in mind! lol LOVED it :) Me and the homie! Model William KortneyHappy birthday Roble! To AC we go! I got to see Beyonce live at the GORGEOUS new Revel Resort grand opening in Atlantic City (special hugs to my sweet friends Asa and Robert). I had front row seats to see Bey (I know..cray) and, let me tell you, the energy was NUTS! Luke James, who was the opening act, sounded smooth like butter too ;) Everyone and their mama came out to see her but I tell you my heart stopped for about 2 seconds when Michelle Obama walked in with her girls. The only person that could take my attention away from Beyonce was our FLOTUS and it was so fun to watch them dance and sing every song. They had a blast! The whole show was amazing, aesthetically very pleasing and Beyonce worked her butt off. The voice? Incredible. I paid attention to every detail: the dancers, the choreography, the lighting, the production, etc...and I loved it. Kudos to Bey and her team!! Check out the photos I took: Me and one of Beyonce's dancers (Larry, one half of Les Twins)see! twins! double the fun!He was amazing and delicious.(who bends like that in real life?)I also finally got the chance to rock my new pin-up style ModCloth bikini poolside at Revel ;) I loved the way it fit my booty and, well, who doesn't love cherries?? ;) And since we are on the topic of bikini's I wanted take the time to urge you plus gals to rock whatever it is you desire to rock at the pool/beach this summer. No coverups! We only get one life to live so don't waste your time worrying about what anyone else has to say. Do what makes you happy honey! I absolutely wanted to share this awesome post by my good friend Gabi Fresh: Fatkini 2012. I love her for showing off what her mama gave her and giving women the confidence to wear bikini's this summer and in style! Please follow her blog. She offers amazing fashion tips and, well, she's hot. After AC I jetted off to LA and did a shoot with the ever so lovely Inez Lewis. Fellow plus model Danielle Line joined me on set and my girl Reah Norman was there to help with her styling expertise! (Go team PLUS!) MelroseI also got to see my baby brother graduate high school which was the highlight of my trip. And no big deal but my brother absolutely did the dougie right after he accepted his diploma on stage. That's my baby! lol I also wanted to share a couple more pics I took behind the scenes at my Kontrol Magazine shoot (which comes out in August). Check out the shoessss honey! Special shout-out to Cynthia and Chris for their help! I hope you enjoyed the pics loves! Please don't forget to follow me on twitter (@tiffanybank) and tweet me pics of your summer adventures! Hi my loves! I know it's been way too long since I've updated my blog. I was in California for a month working and spending time with my family and I had the chance to see a few of my gorgeous plus model friends out there. Shout-out to Danielle Line, Reah Norman, Tess Munster and Michelle Renee for making my Cali birthday a super special one. I also got to host a great event at Ashley Stewart in LA. The ladies came out to party and we had a great time! I have been busy working since being back in NYC and thankfully I have so many fun things coming down the pipe and I promise I will try to do better at sharing here as they come in. In the meantime here are some behind the scenes pic of my latest shoot and a couple snapshots from Cali. Chat soon xoxo
