RIPPIN' THE RUNWAY

Hey sugarpies!  After years of watching Rip The Runway on BET and daydreaming about being on that runway I was able to finally join my curvy sisters and rip it this year!  I had such a fantastic experience!  I had the honor of modeling Monif C.  while Robin Thicke preformed his new song "Pretty Little Heart."  Robin was so great to work with and had us laughing and smiling the whole time.  During rehearsals, he sang "Exhale" by Whitney and the whole room stopped.  A moment I'll never forget I tell ya!   It was...amazing.  Come to find out weeks later he preformed "Exhale" on Ellen (very much worth the google search).  

I have to admit that while I was super excited to be there it was a bit tough to be there without my friend and mentor Mia Amber.  She definitely was in my heart and mind the whole time.  We always used to talk about me being on RTR and not having her there was tough.  I hope I made her proud.  Mia, we miss and love you.
